Six counselling services
Our renovation experts provide advice on matters related to mould damage, ventilation problems, construction and other questions related to indoor air quality. The service is available from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Mon–Thu, at +358 20 757 5181. If the line is busy, the call will be directed to an answering machine. The service is in Finnish. The peer support line for people with indoor-air-induced disorders is open from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesdays and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays, at +358 44 407 7010. The service is in Finnish. The peer support line offers support to people who have contracted diseases or suffered symptoms from indoor air, as well as to their families. The peer line is answered by peer counsellors trained by the Organisation and experts through experience, who have themselves contracted illnesses from indoor air. The Organisation for Respiratory Health in Finland’s social and health security telephone service is open from 9 a.m. to noon on Thursdays, at +358 20 757 5150. The service is in Finnish. The social and health security telephone service provides advice on matters such as social security for persons with respiratory diseases and support services, including rehabilitation, supported holidays and self-care. The social and health security telephone service is closed from 20 December to 11 January.
The Stumppi hotline offers support and advice for people who have or are planning to quit smoking. The hotline is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays and from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursdays, at +358 800 148 484. The service is in Finnish. The service is available anonymously and is provided by health care professionals. You can also leave a message on the Stumppi.fi website and we will call you back. The Stumppi hotline is closed from 25 December to 1 January.

Stumppi.fi is an online service for smokers and people who have or are planning to quit smoking. The site contains information on smoking and non-smoking lifestyles, along with practical tips for quitting and peer support in the forums.
Voluntary work to fight mould
The Hometalkoot.fi website offers practical information, in Finnish, on building maintenance, risk-prone structures and the prevention of moisture and mould damage. The site serves the owners of properties and residences, as well as those responsible for the maintenance of buildings or those considering the purchase of a home.
