The Organisation for Respiratory Health in Finland Group

The Organisation for Respiratory Health in Finland was founded to safeguard the position, treatment, rehabilitation and study and work opportunities of people with respiratory diseases.

An academy, rehabilitation centres and employment units were established alongside the organisational activities. The Organisation for Respiratory Health in Finland has since given up its rehabilitation operations; but, continues to engage in educational and employment activities. Over the decades, the operations have been expanded to the point where only a fraction of the academy’s students and customers of the companies are persons with respiratory diseases or members of respiratory health organisations. The Organisation for Respiratory Health in Finland seeks to ensure social responsibility and continuous development of competencies in all of its operations.
